A brief history of Foolad Alavijeh Cooperative Company

Foolad Alavijeh Cooperative Company was first registered and established on April 12th 1995, upon issuance of license no. 112386 in three phases by Department of Cooperatives of Ministry of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare as a metropolitan company consisting of 8 members, specializing in production of pipe and profiles. And it commenced its operations under authoritative supervision of Department of productive cooperative companies in Ministry of Cooperation and Welfare.

Phase 1:
 Upon issuance of relative principled consent documents by Department of Industries in Isfahan, Foolad Alavijeh Company commenced assembly of its factory site in Alavijeh Industrial Town in a field of more than 34,000m2. After installation and setup of its machinery and production lines, the first phase of the factory was inaugurated with a primary production capacity of 12,000T by the then-minister of Ministry of Cooperatives, Mr. Shafeie on March 17th, 1996, creating jobs for more 30 people.

Phase 2:
  In 1998, the production hall and authoritative building of the factory were expanded to 6,000m2 and through installation of new machinery and addition of 7 more cooperative members, the second phase of the factory expanded production of profiles, rectangular profiles and pipes, leading to job creation for up to 60 people, increasing the overall production capacity of the factory from 12,000T to 42,000T for industrial and constructional purposes.
 
Phase 3:
 February 23rd, 2009 marks the day the factory received its operation license to expand its production and authoritative space to 12,384m2, with 8 production lines and 165 job opportunities in 3 working shifts, bringing the annual production capacity of the factory to up to 200,000T.

Development Plan:
 In 2010, the company commenced its plan to expand its product and raw material storage area to 2,000m2 and assembled an Italian pipe and profile production line so as to produce pipes and furniture HSS profiles, which became operational at the third quarter of 2012. In 2012 and 2013 two other Z and metal production lines were assembled. By the end of 2014, the company had three strip cutting lines as well as two pipe and open/close profile production lines, creating jobs for 200 people.
